Time is Running Out: Legalize Homebrewing in Alabama
The Alabama homebrew bill, HB9, was passed by the Alabama House on April 2 and reported favorably by the Senate Job Creation and Economic Development Committee by a narrow 3-2 margin on April 17. The next step is for the whole Senate to vote on it. If HB9 gets approved by the Senate, then it goes to the governor to sign into law. more»

The American Homebrewers Association is supporting an effort by the Illinois Homebrewers Alliance, a coalition of Illinois homebrew clubs and homebrew supply shops, to resolve this issue. more»

Mississippi Legalizes Homebrewing!
On March 18, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signed SB 2183 into law, which will legalize homebrewing in the state of Mississippi. The new law goes into effect on July 1, 2013, at which time it will officially be legal to homebrew the state. more»
