5 Rabbit Cerveceria Latest to Cut Ties with Donald Trump

Knowing, supporting and serving your community. It’s as important in business as it is in personal relationships. No matter if you’re a presidential candidate or small brewery, recognizing and embracing the people that make you successful is crucial to continued success.

Obviously, Donald Trump forgot this lesson, and is now under fire for comments made last week regarding illegal immigrants. The comments have resulted in many cutting ties with Trump, including Chicago craft brewer, 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, who had worked with a lounge in the city’s Trump Towers on an exclusive beer.

5 Rabbit has deep ties with Latin America and and CEO and Founder Andres Araya found the relationship “hypocritical” to continue their relationship. As reported on CNBC, Andres said, “As a company, an integral part of our vision reads that we are not only based in, but also look to promote a strong and positive image of Latin America, its heritage and people.”

The silver lining of the story is that no beer will be wasted due to the brewery’s departure from Trump towers, instead the beer will be renamed Chinga Tu Pelo, which is a parting shot to Donald Trumps infamous hair.
