Don’t worry, you’ve still got a few days left to plan ultimate grand supreme Mother’s Day extravaganza—seriously people, she deserves it! To make things a little easier on you, The Pink Boots Society has an idea that the whole family can enjoy: Bring Mom Out For a Beer.
The Pink Boots Society, named after the rubber boots that brewers wear, was established by Teri Fahrendorf in 2008. The society is an organization of women who earn income from beer, whether it is brewing, advertising, owning a brewery or writing about beer.
This weekend, breweries and pubs across the country will be offering special brunch menus, discounted tours and merchandise, and other perks to help you celebrate with your mom. Be sure to check out your local brewery’s website and Facebook page for announcements of events in your area.
Here are just a few of the celebrations that have been published on the CraftBeer.com calendar. The folks at Rouge Ales must have some amazing mothers—those guys are hosting special brunches at six of their locations!
