Arizona Beer Week returns with a vengeance Feb. 15 – 22, 2014, and with ten new breweries opening across the state in the last year alone, this year’s affair is sure to be bigger, badder and filled with more beer-centric events than ever before.
The 14th annual Strong Beer Festival sets the stage for the week of festivities at the state’s favorite dining and drinking establishments, kicking off Sat., Feb. 15 at Steel Indian School Park in Phoenix. Tickets tapped out quickly for last year’s opening event, so be sure to secure yours when they go on sale Dec. 1st at http://arizonabeerweek.com/.
Strong Beer Fest revelers (and the sorry few who miss out) can enjoy a little hair o’ the dog all week long, as more than 100 breweries, restaurants and watering holes across the state collaborate to bring craft brew connoisseurs food pairings, tap takeovers, pub crawls, special giveaways, meet the brewer nights and a plethora of other events that pay homage to the awesomeness – and economic powerhouse – that is craft beer in Arizona.
This year’s celebration highlighting the history and diversity of craft beer will feature more events than ever in Tucson and Northern Arizona, as these areas have been “hopping” the last few months, with more and more breweries opening their doors to thirsty Arizonans.
