Mother’s Brewing Company Third Annual Oktoberfest in the Ozarks
The crew at Mother’s Brewing Company love throwing parties in their backyard and they’re about to kick off the Third Annual Oktoberfest in the Ozarks on Saturday, September 7. The event will run from 1pm -7pm with the gates opening to the public at 12:30pm. The festival will be held in Mother’s Backyard, located at 215 S. Grant Ave. in Springfield, MO. Admission is only $5.00 and kids 15 and under are free.
The festival will be a celebration of the changing of the seasons and their love for a good Oktoberfest party. To stick with the festive vibe, you can expect to see the entire Mother’s crew dressed in traditional lederhosen and dirndl attire. The day will be packed full of live music, local food vendors and, of course, local craft beer! Mother’s will provide the beer and the food will be provided by: Firelight Pizza, Horrmann Meat Company, Farmers Gastropub and Benissimo Gelato.
Live music will be provided by Speakeasy, JM Buttermilk’s Hot and Buttered Soul “n” R&B Revue, The Hillbenders and traditional German music by the Garbonzos!
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets so they can sit back, relax, and enjoy the day. Music on the main stage begins at 1:30pm with JM Buttermilk, followed by Speakeasy at 3:30pm and The Hillbenders at 5:30pm. In between each band, guests can also listen to traditional German music by the Garbonzos on the South side of the back yard, underneath the big tent.
“We’ve got a great day planned and we can’t wait to watch the community fill up our backyard,” says Jeremy Wicks, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We will have 8 different beers on tap outside and even more inside the tasting room. On top of all of that, we have a great music line up and some amazing local food! We are very excited about this event!”
