DENVER, CO – As the country revs up for an exciting Superbowl Weekend, ESPN Radio Denver will unveil a new program on Saturday just for the craft beer lovers in the United States. Created and hosted by a transplant from Boston, Gary Valliere is ready to kick off the new show and spread his love for craft beer.
Valliere is not new to radio hosting by any means. He created, and co-hosted, AM 760 Denver’s Colorado Craft Beer Radio in 2011. “When I created Colorado Craft Beer Radio, a year ago, it was with a vision…to create a platform to help get the [local breweries’] message out. While Colorado has emerged to be the frontrunner in this craft beer revolution, it seemed to be the most logical location to launch a radio show on craft beer.”
Impressed, and moved, by the camaraderie that is so representative of brewery owners, brewers, and even the restaurants and tap houses, Valliere was inspired to build upon the Colorado scene and eventually move on to the FM dial and expand to incorporate the national craft beer scene.
On Saturday February 4th, Valliere is set to launch a new show called American Craft Beer Radio. This show will air on 102.3FM ESPN Radio Denver from noon til 1pm every Saturday.
The new show will continue to showcase local brewery, restaurant, and taphouse venues and events in Colorado, but will also spotlight noteworthy breweries around the country. The show topics will include, food and beer pairings, home brewing, beer bloggers and writers, restaurant owners, chefs, brewers and brewery owners.
With continuous input from listeners and plenty of prizes and give-a-ways. Valliere also plans to place emphasis on the rapidly growing involvement of women in the craft beer industry, stating, “This is not just a boys sport anymore folks.”
American Craft Beer Radio will offer an avenue to the experts and a view of the craft beer scene around the country.
American Craft Beer Radio broadcasts live on Saturdays from noon to 1 pm on 102.3 FM ESPN Radio Denver. Gary Valliere, host, can be reached via email at email@example.com and by phone at 720.628.1235.
