Colorado Brewers Guild offers Colorado Craft Beer Week March 18-24

Colorado Craft Beer Week, a week of unique events showcasing the craft beer industry’s collaborative effort, will be held March 18-24. Many of the Colorado Brewers Guild’s 160+ brewery members will be holding special events to celebrate, including tap takeovers, beer dinners, “meet the brewer” nights and beer tappings. There will also be a special brew created by a group of Colorado female brewers.

The Colorado Craft Beer Week kick-off event will be held at the Falling Rock Tap House Monday March 18, from 7-10 p.m., offering more than 80 different Colorado breweries on tap—something no other tap room has done before. Event details for this, and all other Colorado Craft Beer Week events, will be listed on ColoradoCraftBeerWeek.com as they are finalized.

Colorado Craft Beer Week was originally created by Scott Kerkmans, a beer expert and brewer’s consultant, as “Colorado Beer Week.”  This year, the Colorado Brewer’s Guild (CBG) has taken over responsibility for organizing, and growing, the celebration. “The CBG and our member brewers saw great opportunity to produce a world-class beer week for beer lovers all over Colorado,” said Steve Kurowski, Marketing and Public Affairs Director for the CBG.

“With more craft breweries opening every year around our state, Colorado should absolutely have the best Beer Week in the country,” said Kerkmans. “That is why I am so excited that a non-profit like the Colorado Brewer’s Guild is going to be able to host the events for Colorado Craft Beer Week. Plus, with their emphasis on craft beer, I am sure the festivities for beer lovers are only going to get better.”
