Chuckanut Brewery Fest Bier Available

Chuckanut Brewery’s Fest Bier is here to help transition you into the autumn season. Fest bier originates in Munich, Germany at the annual Oktoberfest festival that has become a five-day event, and the world’s largest beer fest, drawing more than 6 million people each year. In the early days, the beer consumed during Oktoberfest was the rich, malty deep colored amber lager. But in recent years, the official Oktoberfest bier has morphed into a lighter, golden Marzen lager with a moderate malty sweetness and a clean, balanced bitterness.

Chuckanut Fest Bier emphasizes the use of Vienna malts for a smooth, quaffable brew. The aroma and flavor are lightly sweet with a hint of noble hops. This medium-bodied beer finishes crisp and smooth and should be enjoyed in a traditional liter stein.  Fest Bier goes great with any of our brats or roasted meats.

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen, located at 601 West Holly St, was awarded the National Small Brewery of the Year 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, CO. The national festival competition is the largest beer competition in the U.S.A.  The full service “Kitchen” serves lunch, happy hour, dinner and late night food with an eclectic fresh local menu for all ages.  Check out more about Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen at www.Chuckanutbreweryandkitchen.com.
