Share Post

After weeks of distributing our award winning Chuckanut Pilsner, Chuckanut Brewery is proud to announce a variety of your favorite Chuckanut beers available bottled and only on sale in the Kitchen! Joining the bottled line-up will first be Kolsch followed by the Rauch Marzen Lager, and Strong Ale. Be on the look-out for our bottled Pilsner and Kolsch in more accounts around the sound as our distributors Dickerson Distributing and Click Distributing begin delivery to Seattle, Whatcom County, Skagit County, and San Juan Island. Our bottles are also going to Canada, distributed by Modern Malt in Vancouver, B.C.

Our award-winning Kolsch is inspired by the cold conditioned ale brewed exclusively in the city of Cologne, Germany. Bitterness is restrained, and the palate is light-bodied and dry with a soft malt flavor in the center giving way to a dry finish. The heart of “Smoked” beer lies in Bamberg, Germany where Rauch Bier is the choice drink. Beech wood is gathered from the forests and used to fuel the smoke houses where the malt is dried. The resulting beer has a light smokiness backed by malt in the nose. In our Rauch Bier, rich malty smoke dominates the palate, resulting in an assertive, unique, fascinating, beer! Our British style Strong Ale is medium to full-bodied with a malty sweetness, making it incredibly smooth and drinkable. The hop aroma is minimal letting the characteristic fruitiness of the ale shine through.
