Red Hare Brewing Company is now introducing the next beer in the Rabbit’s Reserve series: Bitter Hearts Double Black IPA. The Rabbit’s Reserve series is a line of beer that we limitedly release on draught only a few times a year. Bitter Hearts is the fifth beer in this series.

Bitter Hearts will be introduced to the public at our Release Party Saturday February 9th at the brewery from 2-4pm. Bitter Hearts, along with our other three mainstay beers will be available for sampling. We’ll be celebrating with live music from The Bretheren and local food truck Snap! Franks and Coney’s will be bringing a taste of Central New York to Marietta.

After February 9th, 2013 Bitter Hearts will be available on draught in bars, growler stores and restaurants throughout Georgia, as well as the brewery, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Bitter Hearts Double Black IPA is a complex brew, not for the faint of heart. This imperial black IPA is bittered with Falconer’s Flight, Chinook, and Cascade hops. We use Crystal Malts to balance the hops while the Midnight Wheat gives it a rich dark color. We finish it off by dry-hopping it with Summit, Cascade, and Columbus whole coned hops.  This beer is dark brown to black in color with a fragrant aroma and an alcohol content of 9%. It starts out smooth and finishes with a strong bitter bite. Bitter Hearts pairs best with grilled meats, spicy cuisine, curry, bleu cheese, and other sharp cheeses.

Red Hare Brewing Company is an independent micro-brewer in Marietta, GA selling its craft beer through out the state.
