Enjoy Upslope’s summer seasonal, Thai Style White IPA, for the first time this year at their 3rd Annual Upslope Get Down Music Festival
BOULDER, Colo. (May 18, 2016) — Upslope Brewing Company, the nationally-decorated Boulder-based craft brewery, is reinstating its summer Limited Release beer, the Thai Style White IPA, this week for American Craft Beer Week. The seasonal brew has developed into a customer favorite and will be available to the public starting this Wednesday at both Upslope tap rooms in addition to the 3rd Annual Upslope Get Down Music Festival on May 21.
The Thai Style White IPA is hopped as a citrusy American IPA, yet fermented with Belgian Wit yeast. Adding seven different spices including coriander, Thai basil, lemongrass, and ginger, forms an unexpected beer and a signature Upslope flavor profile.
“This beer was developed from a collaborative discussion around a dinner table with Denver’s Euclid Hall and Kitchen,” says Upslope Founder, Matt Cutter. “There was a collective desire to craft a beer to capture the aroma and spiciness that usually accompanies Thai cuisine. We had a great time developing the beer, and through countless iterations, landed on the final product: a white IPA like no other.”
The Thai Style White IPA is making its big summer splash at the 3rd Annual Upslope Get Down Music Festival on Saturday, May 21 at the Flatiron Park brewery. The family-friendly Upslope Get Down, presented by Flatirons Subaru, is a free music festival with Upslope beer, local food trucks, live art, games, a Kid’s Zone from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm and more! The music will be jamming all day with 13 bands performing on three different stages. A portion of the proceeds from the Get Down will benefit UpaDowna, a Colorado non-profit that empowers individuals and healthy community development by providing access to outdoor adventure for all.
