Have you ever had a labor of love? Something you enjoyed so much that you did it just for the sport of it? The camaraderie? That feeling of accomplishment when the day is done? We sure have at Deep Ellum! It’s why we started the brewery in the first place!
It’s with great pride that we close out every summer season with one last bash in honor of our homebrewing bretherin. And to follow, we host a BJCP sanctioned home-brew festival with it. Each year, a Best in Show winner is awarded and we brew it at DEBC.
This month, we’re releasing (big breath) the 2014 Labor of Love – Fest of Ales – Homebrew Competition Best in Show, Labor of Love 2, a Honey Basil Hefeweizen.
In at 5.7% ABV and 12 IBU’s.
