Dover, DE – The Fordham and Dominion Brewing Company hosted their first beer and music
festival, R2Hop2, on May 19, 2012.
In honor of American Craft Beer Week, the festival brought together local brews and artisans
and featured the music of Bond & Bentley, the Grilled Lincolns, Pasadena and the Rovers. Over
1,000 attendees consumed 29 half-kegs of beer and 3 half-kegs of root beer. Throughout the day,
two specialty firkins of Hop Mountain and Oak Barrel Stout were tapped. A portion of event
profits went to support the Air Force’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation program, the Dover
Shepherd Place and the Fraternal Order of the Police.
President and CEO of Fordham and Dominion, Jim Lutz, stated, “R2Hop2 was a wonderful day
for the brewery and the community. Between catching up with old friends, listening to talented
musicians and drinking great beer, I cannot imagine the day going any better. I would like to
thank the volunteers and staff who made the day possible. We could not have done this without
you. ”
