June 11, 2015 – Lakewood Brewing Company will be joining this year’s Boulevardia Festival in Kansas City, Missouri, a three-day urban street festival that takes place on June 19-21 in the historic West Bottoms area, specifically in and around the iconic, multi-leveled 12th Street viaduct. As the only Texas brewery participating in this invite-only event, Lakewood Brewing Company will represent the Lone Star State in the Taps & Tastes beer and food sampling event, which takes place on Saturday, June 20.
Lakewood will feature three of its annual brews: Temptress, Lakewood Lager and Hop Trapp.
“It’s a rare occurrence for us to have the opportunity to share our beer with folks outside of Texas,” said Lakewood Brewing Company founder, Wim Bens. “We definitely want to thank Boulevard Brewing Company and all representatives of Boulevardia for including us in this event.”
Hosted by Boulevard Brewing Company, this annual gathering of like-minded individuals celebrates the best aspects of beer, food, and music festivals all in one place, sharing craft beer and food sampling with fans from all over the Midwest. The multi-day event will be highlighted with a craft beer and food sampling experience, music from local, regional and national acts as well as family activities, entertainment, shopping and eco-education in a unique urban setting.
