SANDPOINT, IDAHO- MickDuff’s Brewing Company is excited to announce their draft only distribution product line-up just got a little larger. After much anticipation, the Blonde Ale and Irish Redhead are hitting the North Idaho and Eastern Washington markets with the Odom Corp.
The two award winning ales have a rich history with MickDuff’s:
Blonde Ale: Most formerly known as the Tipsy Toe Head Blonde by anyone who stops in their pub, the Blonde Ale is MickDuff’s lightest ale at 4.8% abv with only 14 IBUs. It’s light and crisp, a perfect craft beer for people who do not like bitterness. It’s been a pub-favorite since MickDuff’s original opening in 2006 and received a Gold Medal at the North American Beer Awards in the Light Ale category in 2013.
Irish Redhead: Every Irish family has redhead and this is an Irish-style Red Ale which is a nice biscuit flavor malt backbone with hints of roasted malts. It is 5.4% abv and 23 ibu. It’s been a pub favorite at the MickDuff’s Brewpub for almost five years and won a Gold Medal at the North American Beer Awards in the Irish-style Red Ale category in 2013, and a Bronze in 2015.
These two ales are added to their current draft only distribution lineup of: Lake Paddler Pale Ale, NOHO and Knot Tree Porter, an American Style Pale Ale, American Style Imperial India Pale Ale and Robust Porter respectively. MickDuff’s hopes to release their flagship IPA later in 2015 and add to their growing list of pub-favorite seasonals.
MickDuff’s Naturally North Ales are available in the five northern counties of Idaho and all over Eastern Washington in 1/2 BBL and 1/6 BBL kegs, exclusively distributed by the Odom Corp.
MickDuff’s Brewing Company is family owned, by two brothers and WSU grads, Mickey and Duffy Mahoney, established in 2006 and located in historic downtown Sandpoint, Idaho. Their emphasis is brewing well-balanced and all-natural beer. Their dedication to all natural beer means they refuse to filter, do not pasteurize or do not add preservatives or use unnecessary chemicals during the brewing process.
