After recently celebrating their Fourth Anniversary, Pikes Peak Brewing Company of Monument, CO is excited to continue to grow even more in to their fifth year!

PPBC has signed an agreement with Western Distribution to handle all distribution to the entire state of Colorado. This is a significant step in the evolution of Pikes Peak Brewing and will soon mean their award winning beer will be available throughout Colorado!

With the purchase of 3 new tanks, Pikes Peak Brewing has a 54% increase in brewing capacity. A 40BBL and 20BBL fermenter and a new 40 BBL brite tank will help PPBC keep up with their increasing demand.

Pikes Peak Brewing is also very excited to welcome a new brewer to their staff, Alan Windhausen, directly from studying beer science and fermentation in the UC-Davis Extension Master Brewers Program. Alan previously studied at Missouri University of Science and Technology. In the interim of finishing school in Missouri and attending UC-Davis, Alan spent time teaching math and science in Alaska and working on the canning line and in the cellar at Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver, CO. While at UC-Davis, he also interned at Hanger 24 Brewery in Redlands, CA. Alan is excited to further his beer education at Pikes Peak, while bringing his production brewing experience to help the brewery continue its rapid growth.
