Twisted Pine Brewing Company observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month in style
Boulder, Colorado – October 7th 2011 – Ever the champion of charitable causes, Twisted Pine Brewing Company is once again lending support to a worthy and benevolent effort. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, as always, Twisted Pine insists on doing its part. Teaming up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the brewery will be selling collectible pint glasses and handing over 100% of the proceeds to the global leader in the fight against breast cancer. The glass features the Twisted Pine logo in pink on one side and the distinctive pink ribbon, popularized as a symbol of the movement by the Susan G. Komen Foundation, on the opposite side. The special glassware can be purchased for $5 either at the Twisted Pine Ale House at 3201 Walnut St. in Boulder, CO or online from the brewery’s website. “Getting involved with causes like this is easily the best part of my job,” Emily Valenta, the brewery’s ale house manager, professes as she pulls a beer into one of the glasses. “Not only are the glasses stylish,” added Valenta, “but people are buying them because they want to help out.”
Based in Boulder, Colorado Twisted Pine Brewing Company has been handcrafting beer since 1995.
