Connecticut’s craft beer industry will offer fans major discounts and incentives in 2012January 2, 2012
As Connecticut residences prepared to welcome in the new year the state’s craft beer industry was coming together to offer local beer fans an impressive and growing list of discounts for 2012 as part of the CT Beer Trail’s on going efforts to promote the state’s craft beer community.
The CT Beer Trail was launched in February of 2011 after partnering with Connecticut’s breweries, some of the state’s craft beer bars, and a majority of the it’s brew pubs and home brew shops. Now moving into its second year, the CT Beer Trail has worked with its partners to develop an exclusive club that will offer consumers a year’s worth of special incentives and benefits.
While the CT Beer Trail web site remains free for its members, the new “Trail Blazers Club” will provide craft beer fanatics with additional site access and a membership card that entitles them to discounts and special offers across the state. Joining the club will cost participants $10 dollars, and their membership will be good until January 2013.
“I’m very excited we were able to leverage our relationships with the state’s craft beer industry to give something back to its fan base,” said Bryon Turner who founded the CT Beer Trail in early 2011. “The club will be good for both the consumers and the small business owners who make this community so great!”
A complete list of participating brew pubs, home brew shops, and beer bars, as well as instructions on how to join can be found at CTBeerTrail.net. Businesses interested in taking part in the program should contact Turner for more information.
