Beer and Cheese – The Perfect Pairing

WARRENTON, VA (September 10, 2015) – On Saturday, September 19th, both cheese and beer lovers can be found at Old Bust Brewing Company from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm for the first annual Bleu and Brew Festival to taste a variety of specialty selected cheeses and craft beers.

15 Virginia breweries will be on site with over 30 different beers. There will also be 9 cheeses specially selected by the Culpeper Cheese Company, 8 food trucks and 3 bands. Wylder, an Indie Folk band from Washington DC, will start off the day playing from 12-2, followed by solo artist Justin Storer lead singer of Charlottesville based The Working Effective, and finishing up with The Logan Craft Band playing from 3-6 pm. With over 30 craft brews, Old Bust Head root beer and root beer floats, and food trucks offering everything from local farm fresh favorites, to brick oven pizza, to cheese steaks and spiedies there will be plenty to tempt every palate.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at www.oldbusthead.com through Eventbrite. General admission is $40.00 in advance and $45.00 at the gate. Admission includes 8, 4oz beer samples, 8, 05oz cheese sample and a commemorative sampling flute. Flex cards offering additional beer and cheese tastings can be purchased the day of event for an additional $10.00. Limited VIP tickets are available for 11am admission and an additional 10 limited-release beers, additional samples, glass flute and lanyard for $60. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10.00 and include two non-alcoholic drink tickets for Old Bust Head Root Beer in a 16oz commemorative Bleu & Brew Cup. Children 16 and under are FREE.
