“It feels really cool to be recognized among Minnesota’s best,” said Tim Nelson, Founder and Principal of Fitger’s Brewhouse. “We’re happy to still be here doing what we do. We’re always striving to be better, and it’s great to be validated for all the hard work that happens at the Fitger’s Brewhouse brewery and pubs everyday.”

In its write up of the Brewhouse, The Growler had this to say: “One of the biggest reasons for Duluth’s rise as an amazing craft beer city is the brewpub that began it all. The Fitger’s team has expanded their reach to multiple establishments, and cranked out award-winning beer at the brewpub in impressive volumes. They laid the groundwork in the Zenith City for new breweries and brewpubs and we’re reaping the benefits of their success all around the state.”

“Everyday we brew, we make it the best we know how,” said Fitger’s Brewhouse Master Brewer Dave Hoops of the award. “We are just proud to be a part of the vibrant Minnesota brewing community.”

The Growler Magazine said of Tycoons Alehouse: “Drinking in Duluth just keeps getting better and Tycoon’s has become the destination for Metro imbibers in the know. The old Duluth City Hall is now flush with Fitger’s brews and pub grub that’s worth a visit in itself. And if there’s a band on stage, you’re in for a perfect night in the Zenith City.”

“We are incredibly proud of our brewing team and pub staff that made this possible,” said Brad Nelson, Minister of Propaganda for Fitger’s Brewhouse. “It’s incredibly fulfilling, but also humbling, to have so many craft beer fans support us this way, even in Minneapolis. It just feels great.”

Fitger’s Brewhouse brews award-winning craft ales and lagers in the historic Fitger’s Brewery Complex in Duluth, MN. The brewery is also known for fantastic pub food, including burgers made with Brewhouse Beef, local beef enriched with spent brewery grain.
