SlantShack has also partnered with The Bronx Brewery to create “The Bronx Pale Ale Jerky,” the company’s first beer-based flavor.
“The Bronx Pale Ale Jerky,” created in collaboration with South Bronx-based craft brewer The Bronx Brewery, is SlantShack’s first beer-based jerky. Using a blend of Brooklyn-based Tin Mustard, honey, and The Bronx Pale Ale, this new flavor brings together two of SlantShack Jerky’s favorite things—quality craft beer and quality jerky. In keeping with SlantShack’s commitment to customization and customer choice, “The Bronx Pale Ale Jerky” is available with either 100% grass-fed or USDA Choice beef. For jerky eaters of legal age, SlantShack and The Bronx Brewery recommend pairing this jerky with The Bronx Pale Ale, a deep amber American-style pale ale brewed with five barley malts, generous additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, and a unique strain of yeast. The British, German and American malts used provide a blend of caramel, biscuit, and nutty malt flavors, and the hops offer a gentle, pleasant bitterness with an intense floral and citrus aroma. The dry-hopped, unfiltered, and unpasteurized beer is a perfect complement to SlantShack’s sweet and savory jerky.
