
Who says you can’t trick-or-treat after the age of 12? Not the crew down at Coastal Extreme Brewing, makers of Newport Storm! Save the date for Saturday, October 27th for this year’s Halloween in Newport with Newport Storm! Roam the streets with ghosts, ghouls and all manner of creepy creatures to visit some great spots in downtown Newport, and trick-or-treat Newport Storm style!
Don your Halloween-best and spend the night out with the Storm crew and some real characters! Halloweeners will fill the streets of downtown Newport joining in on a Storm promotion at some of the cities hottest spots! Some creepy concoctions made with Thomas Tew, a witches brew and local hot cider await you at The Fastnet and Mudville Pubs! Featured offerings of Cyclones, Storms of the Season, satellite bars and a variety of other Storm/Tew beverages will be highlighted at other venues throughout the night, including The Barking Crab, One Pelham East, Newport Blues Café and the Rhino Bar & Grille!
This year’s crowd is expected to reach close to (if not over) 500 tricksters! Coastal Extreme Brewing PR & Events Manager, Taylor Butzbach says “This is what all the ‘cool kids’ will be doing for Halloween this year, so don’t be left out!”
To join in the fun, starting Saturday, October 13th, pick up your free wristband at the Newport Storm Brewery during normal Visitor Center hours (everyday but Tuesdays, noon-5pm), limit 2 per person. Wristbands will provide “Trick-or-Treaters” with free cover until 10pm at our featured locations. With your wristband, Storm will provide participants with a full list of participating bars and a “schedule of events.” A small number of wristbands will be available the night of (limit 1 per person) at Fastnet and Mudville Pubs, but of course, costumes are a must!
