Tribes Alehouse & Grill is opening a second location, bringing great food, craft beers and friendly service to Tinley Park.
Tribes Alehouse & Grill Tinley Park plans to open Sept. 24 in a 6,000-square-foot space at 9501 W. 171st Street in the Park Hill Towne Center at 171st Street and LaGrange Road.
Lunch and dinner patrons can expect more of the exceptional casual cuisine that has made Tribes Alehouse & Grill’s Mokena restaurant a popular eatery in Chicago’s south suburbs. The family-friendly American brasserie menu features entrees made from the highest-quality ingredients and includes favorites ranging from Buffalo wings and escargot to house-made charcuterie, fresh seafood, bison burgers and the highest-quality steaks.
“We offer a very welcoming, warm and inviting atmosphere with a heavy focus on food quality and an amazing array of some of the best craft beers available to us in Illinois served by some of the most beer-centric people you will find anywhere,” says Niall Freyne, owner of Tribes Alehouse & Grill.
Tribes Alehouse & Grill also has built an outstanding reputation as one of the Chicago area’s top destinations to enjoy craft beer, with about 45 different fine brews offered daily on tap. It’s also a full bar with a wide selection of whiskeys, wines and other drinks.
Chicago Magazine readers voted Tribes Alehouse & Grill among the top-five Chicago-area “Best Bars for Beer Lovers” in the 2012 Reader’s Choice poll.
Tribes Alehouse & Grill also is known for its outstanding customer service. The original Tribes Alehouse & Grill, which opened in 2009, will continue to operate at 11220 W. Lincoln Highway, Mokena.
Freyne, 46, has worked in the food and beverage business since he was 15 years old, including nearly 14 years experience in the corporate hotel industry. After being involved in opening dozens of restaurants for other people, Freyne opened the first restaurant of his own in 2005.
“We take a lot of time making sure our menu features old-school favorites and classic dishes and giving them a slightly modern twist,” Freyne says.
In addition to great food, Tribes Alehouse & Grill offers tap selections that appeal to craft-beer connoisseurs.
“We pride ourselves on having fantastic, ongoing, established relationships with some of the best craft breweries in the country,” Freyne says “We are able to provide to our discriminating guests a phenomenal array of brews with over 50 crafts on draft every day! . Additionally, unlike many other restaurants and bars, we are able to offer several very rare beers from these breweries , which are often tapped and available on our weekly afternoon specialty tappings.”
The Tinley Park restaurant will open daily at 11:30 a.m., with the kitchen serving until 10 p.m. on weeknights and 11 p.m. on weekends. Visit www.tribesalehouse.com or call 708-966-2051 to learn more.
