I
n 2006, the Brewers Association's recognition of American Beer Month was refocused into American Craft Beer Week, a weeklong coordinated effort timed to kick off the busy summer craft beer season. ACBW provides a manageable length of time for brewers, distributors, retailers and consumers to devote to celebrating America's small and independent craft brewers. This week is a time to recognize craft brewers as integral parts of their local communities and their success in reshaping how beer is seen in the U.S. today. Use this flyer as a resource to help explain the program's big picture: ACBW Program Introduction.
