I visited Dunedin Brewery located in Dunedin, Florida. Dunedin is a Scottish heritage beach town located just North of Clearwater, about 40 minutes west of Tampa. I met and hung out with Travis Kruger, Dunedin's general manager and a well-known figure in Central Florida's craft beer scene. Travis is a gracious host and a genuine beer lover who loves to talk beer. The Snug Pub, as the tasting room is called, serves up a variety of beer-infused cuisine. The fish tacos are a consistent favorite and the closest thing you'll find to West Coast style fish tacos on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Dunedin Brewery recently started selling growlers. Growlers are a novelty in Florida and Dunedin is one of only four breweries in the state that offers them. They come in quart and half-gallon sizes. In addition to the brewpub, there are many great shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the Dunedin Brewery. After a pint or two at Dunedin—I highly recommend the nitro dry stout—you can explore the charms of one of Florida's quaint beach towns.
