Hopsized Brewing Company started as a homebrewing hobby in Southwest Florida, driven by co-founders Ana and Vic’s growing obsession with the science behind beer.

What began as experimenting for fun quickly turned into a deeper focus on technique (especially water profiles). After consistent encouragement from the local community and early recognition at the state level, it became clear that brewing wasn’t just a hobby anymore—it was something worth building around.

Hopsized Brewing Company cares deeply about making beer that is true to style, technically sound and consistent. The team builds accurate water profiles tailored to each style and continually refines every recipe through repetition and feedback. As a small and independent brewery, Hopsized keeps its brews rooted in craft, not optimization at scale.

Going for Gold

In 2026, Hopsized’s Blonde Ale—Vic’s very first homebrew recipe—earned a gold award at the World Beer Cup, the most prestigious beer competition in the world. For a small, independently run brewery outside of a traditional craft beer hub, this was a major milestone. The award winning Blonde Ale proves that small, independent brewing done with care and precision can stand on a much bigger stage.
