(Denver, CO) May 28th 2015 – Denver’s favorite ballpark-neighborhood restaurant and bar is excited to announce its second Adult Daycare Event of the 2015 series – CAUTION: Pig Roast! The event will feature CAUTION: Brewing Company and a buffet style feast that encourages adults to let loose and have some fun. At 6:30pm on June 19th The Lobby, Westword’s Best of Denver 2015 Editor’s Pick for Best Bottomless Mimosa Deal, and Executive Chef Brandon Muncy welcome you to roll up your sleeves and dig in!
Chef Jensen Cummings says of The Lobby family – “Christian and Meg Batizy’s passion and child-like enthusiasm is the cornerstone of The Lobby. This is why we created Adult Daycare, to share that energy with their guests. To let us so called “adults” let out our inner child. Aided, of course, by adult beverages”
“We are excited to show the city of Denver that great food and beer can be playful and fun. We are excited to partner with a local brewery for such a fun annual event. This Adult Daycare will have our Chef roasting two hogs on the patio over the course of the day and serving them up with house-made BBQ sauces and sides.” says Christian, co-owner of The Lobby.
Our ‘adventures in babysitting’ will continue with a buffet style meal of slow roasted hog, house made BBQ sauces and our favorite back yard sides, such as potato salad and fresh cornbread. To kick it up a notch we’ve chosen 3 brews from Denver based CAUTION: Brewing Co. to pair and contrast with the grub. Representatives from CAUTION will be on hand to pour brews, answer questions, and rub elbows with guests.
To give guests a timeless experience, a playful series of gear is theirs to collect and games are theirs to play. Branded bandanas to be worn as a bib commemorating each event lets guests relive their “childhood” memories at Adult Daycare.
Only 60 guests will get to experience this unique event for only $40. This includes your meal, three 9oz pairings, and your collectable swag (plus prizes for the best decorated bib!). The second of five Adult Daycare’s of 2015 at The Lobby will be held in one of the premiere patios in Denver. Lively tunes and goofy games such as a drunk coloring contest and bib decorating contest leave no question that this is the place to be.
