Sonoma County, CA (June 30, 2016)—Now that summer has officially begun, sit back, relax, and enjoy Bear Republic’s summer seasonal offering, Apex. Over the last few years, this IPA (India Pale Ale) has become one of the most sought after beers, earning its place in the Bear Republic lineup.
Apex will make its annual return in 22oz. bottles and on draft at select retailers, bars, and restaurants where Bear Republic beer is sold, beginning in July. It will be available, locally, at the Healdsburg brewpub starting Friday, July 1.
“Apex is a beer that is always changing. What’s great about this beer is, every year the hop profile fluctuates a little, based on new hops and offerings available to us,” said Bear Republic Brewmaster/COO, Richard “Ricardo” Norgrove.
This year’s release highlights hop varieties, Ella and Azacca, giving it a very enjoyable floral, tropical, and citrusy aroma.
Norgrove continued, “Focusing on different hops each year is really what makes this beer so awesome to brew, and also to drink. It’s what makes it a Special IPA. I hope our fans enjoy this journey, along with me.”
