MINNEAPOLIS, MN – May 14th 2013 – The web and mobile homebrewing application Brewtoad.com, which empowers homebrewers to create and discover homebrew recipes, has acquired Hopville.com.
Software Developer, Todd Gehman founded the website Hopville.com in 2008. Hopville was created with the goal of uniting the homebrew industry by establishing one of the largest online selections of beer recipes. “This is very exciting news for the homebrewing community. All of Hopville’s key features, functionality and all recipes will be migrated to Brewtoad. The overall user-experience is going to be incredible,” said Hopville President Todd Gehman. Brewtoad Co-Founder Andrew Dickenson stated, “Brewtoad is excited and committed to providing a seamless user migration. This merger will greatly empower our user base of nearly 40,000 brewers to now explore 150,000 plus homebrewing recipes.”
