Not only is this one gonna taste incredible, but it’s going to sound pretty damn good, too! We at Call to Arms joined forces with our friends, musicians, and craft beer aficionados, Pick & Howl, to brew a fun new Black IPA featuring Australian hops, Ella and Enigma. The resulting collaborative brew is ready to be shared with the world on Thursday, January 10. Beer taps at 3pm. Music starts at 6pm.

The Beer: Super hop forward with fruit notes layered under heavy pine aromas. Nice malt character with tons of coffee on the nose and some light chocolate present. Balanced but assertive.

The Music: Founded in Denver, Colorado, the progressive bluegrass 5-piece has gained notoriety as both practitioners of Classical Bluegrass and genre-warping jammers. Drawing from a broad range of inspiration that includes Townes Van Zandt, Flatt & Scruggs, The Dead and contemporaries like Billy Strings, lead vocalist Jeremy Richard serves as a conduit to create a unique category of soaring, frenetic, authentic Americana. Backed by a string band featuring Paul Larson on the Scruggs-style banjo, Andrew Gordon on Dobro, Pickin’ Pete Barbaro on Mandolin and Eric Gordon on Bass, Pick & Howl delivers a groundbreaking Bluegrass performance that is not to be missed.
