SAN DIEGO – The third installment in Coronado’s Art Series is set to make its debut with the release of Island Vibes Berliner Weisse. The Coronado KFiSH Art Series debuted earlier this year and has already seen two successful beer releases. Island Vibes is now the third beer to come out of the series.

Island Vibes is a kettle sour brewed to be slightly tart with a dry, refreshing finish. The addition of fresh passionfruit puree gives the beer a bright, tropical profile, while a sessionable 4.5% ABV makes it a great beer to beat the summer heat. “Island Vibes is another R&D beer making a return on a bigger scale by popular demand,” noted Mark Theisen, Head Brewer, Coronado Brewing Company. “Everything about this beer screams summer refreshment and we think it’ll become a go-to beer for many as the summer heat rages on.”

Island Vibes will debut at Coronado Brewing’s three locations on Friday, August 3 in six-pack cans and on draft. The beer will hit broader retail Beer Stylesavailability later in August and will be available to buy in stores throughout Coronado’s distribution network, while supplies last. About Coronado Brewing Company

In 1996, when craft beer was still a foreign term and San Diego County was home to only a handful of breweries, the Chapman brothers Ron and Rick opened a brewpub in their hometown of Coronado. Today CBC stays true to their San Diego roots, brewing abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales, which are available today in 14 US states and 12 countries. In addition to the long-established pub in Coronado, the company opened a tasting room inside its San Diego production facility in 2013, and a tasting room and restaurant in Imperial Beach, California in 2014. Coronado Brewing Company was honored in 2014 with one of the brewing industry’s most prestigious awards—World Beer Cup Champion Brewery and Brewmaster for a Mid-Size Brewing Company.
