We debuted the below barrel aged brews during GABF week and were blown away how fast they went. Luckily, we saved a little bit so we could bottle them up for you! Each of these presents a unique twist upon the base beer and will only improve with proper cellaring and time.
MERISTEM Russian Imperial Stout, aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels Flavors of vanilla, dark cocoa, espresso and a hint of maple. All of this colliding with a rich, dessert-like texture, without being too sweet.
QUIXOTIC Belgian Quadrupel, aged in Laws Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon Barrels Flavors of burned sugar, vanilla, and rich caramel from the barrel have intertwined with the fig, plum and candy notes of Quixotic for a uniform profile reminiscent of crème brûlée with dark fruit.
Both beers will be on draft in our taproom as well.
We have an extremely limited amount of these, only 100 of each.
