DENVER, CO (December 7, 2016) – Fiction Beer Company, a craft brewery on Colfax Ave in Park Hill, will begin selling beer in cans this month. Fiction Beer has been distributing 22oz bombers of their seasonal beers and Feely Effects Stout for over a year but will start putting their mainstay “Classics” in cans this month.
The first release, Logic is Relative, will be packaged in cans and available for purchase in their taproom and at local liquor stores. Logic is Relative has become the breweries number one selling beer since its release earlier this year. Logic is Relative, a New England style hazy imperial IPA, is a part of the current “haze craze” happening in Colorado. Fiction Beer Company has produced a half dozen different beers in this category, going back as far as when they first opened in 2014. As such it is no surprise that this is the first beer they chose to can. The creamy mouthfeel and bountiful tropical aromas are hallmarks of the NE Style.
Logic is Relative, with its 7.9% ABV and 85 IBU, will be available in the Park Hill taproom beginning December 18 at 1:00pm. It will be available in 4-pack cans and draft around Denver. Fiction Beer Company plans to release additional “Classic” cans including Damned Curious Business, their Sour IPA, and A Beer of Very Little Brain, their Amber Wheat, in early 2017.
