Tapping Into Portland Loves Pints

Share Post

Portland, OR- Portland Loves Pints is launching its short online film series dedicated to Portland’s one of a kind beer industry. Our goal through this series is to tell the stories behind the breweries, brewers, beers & businesses that truly make our city the home of “Beervana”. These stories are meant to be the vehicle that highlight the differences that make these places unique, not rate or critique the quality of their products. The lead cinematographer on this project is filmmaker David Panton who’s film Oregon Brewed won Best of Oregon at the 2013 Oregon Film Awards.

Our kickstarter project officially launched Saturday, March 2nd.  We partnered with the Portland UBrew & Pub (6237 SE Milwaukie Ave, Portland, OR 97202) to brew a beer (Portland Loves Pints-a dark American Amber) that was released with the launch of the Kickstarter. There was a live raffle that included donations from local artists as well as a party pack from Brewvana. The launch party was a huge success to start this process as the project reached 11% backing, not including the money earned from the raffle which earned an additional $345.
