Tennessee Brew Works and Gypsy Circus Cider Collaborate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Gypsy Circus Cider, an independent craft cider company of Kingsport and Knoxville, TN and Tennessee Brew Works, an independent craft beer brewery from Nashville, TN, announced today a partnership to create a Tennessee craft cider.

Tennessee Brew Works Head Brewer, Matt Simpson, and Gypsy Circus Cider Company’s Head Cider Maker, Steve Metcalf are collaborating on a cider featuring locally grown peaches to create a distinct flavor profile. At an ABV of 6%, the “Peach Cobbler” is a dry cider showcasing fresh peaches and red apple; finishes with subtle notes of cinnamon and is perfect for quenching that thirst as the heat of Tennessee summer slowly abates.

The cider was produced at Gypsy’s headquarters in Kingsport, Tennessee.

“We relish our relationship with Gypsy Circus Cider that began when both of our Tennessee-grown organizations were in their infancies. All these years later we are excited to finally formally create alongside them,” says Christian Spears, Founder, Tennessee Brew Works. “We believe that these collaborations are essential to the growth of creativity, knowledge, and community.”

“We’ve followed Tennessee Brew Works quality approach to craft since they opened more than six years ago. Given our collective emphasis on craft products and locally sourced ingredients, it seems fitting that we produce a cider to celebrate that,” said Gypsy founder Aaron Carson.

This limited-release cider is expected to be available at Tennessee Brew Works’ Taproom in Nashville, Gypsy’s Knoxville and Kingsport locations and select craft bars across the state by late October.

Both taprooms will celebrate the release on Friday, October 25th at their respective locations.

The Caravan Tour collaboration is the inaugural collaboration between Gypsy Circus Cider Company and its brewing friends in Tennessee.
