NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Tennessee Brew Works and Delvin Farms, a family-owned organic farm located in College Grove, Tennessee, are once again partnering to create the newest Tennessee winter seasonal beer, Country Roots® sweet potato stout.

Country Roots Sweet Potato Stout, ABV 5.5%, IBU 30, uses generous amounts of Delvin Farm’s sweet potatoes, roasted by their own in-house chef, to create a silky smooth and creamy stout. Melodies of coffee and dark chocolate transition into a chorus of toasted and roasted notes. The face on the beer label is Hank Delvin, Jr himself, Head Farmer and Delvin Farms proprietor.

“From farm to bottle, we are excited to be partnered with Tennessee Brew Works to once again use our just harvested sweet potatoes to ferment a delicious beer,” says Hank Delvin, Jr., “Farming is a labor of love, just like brewing, and we are happy to see our potatoes used in such a creative and unique blend.”

“The Delvin Family Farm is very important to the fabric of Tennessee agriculture,” says Christian Spears, Founder and President of Tennessee Brew Works. “We feel privileged to collaborate with such an esteemed member of the Tennessee farming community to create a beer truly indigenous of where we live.”
