World of Beer Brewing New Locations Nationwide

Share Post

World of Beer (WOB), a thriving beer-centric tavern boasting an extensive collection of beers from around the globe, will open three new locations within the month of July. These new locations include Katy, TX; Ann Arbor, MI; and Jacksonville, FL. Ann Arbor is the first WOB location to open in Michigan, with Jacksonville being the first to open with the new ‘Tavern Fare’ menu.

As the summer heats up, World of Beer prepares to cool down with a locally crafted beer by opening several locations within a month. This fast-growing franchise has expanded significantly since its founding in 2007. Currently 44 locations are established across the United States, with plans to open even more as the year goes on. This rapid expansion is possible due to the success of the WOB Culture that has been created, as each location partners with local breweries and restaurants to create a thriving individual establishment.

In addition, the release of the Tavern Fare menu at WOB Jacksonville is a new development that has been highly anticipated since its announcement in the spring. The exclusively crafted ‘Tavern Fare’ menu is complete with tavern-style favorites including soft pretzels, flatbreads and brats. The items on the new menu embody the craft-style experience and pair well with the collection of brews available at World of Beer. Many of the recipes use craft beer as an ingredient, making this menu unique and appreciative of the WOB culture.

These openings are not the first announcement World of Beer has made this summer. The tavern franchise was recently given the opportunity to collaborate with Samuel Adams to celebrate the legacy and culture of the American brand. World of Beer locations participating nationwide in the ‘Great American Beer-Cation’ will offer eight specially selected beers from the Samuel Adams portfolio from July 1-31st. Loyalty members will be given a punch card and, after trying these eight different brews, will be entered to win a trip for two to the Great American Beer Festival. There will be an official announcement of the winner on Friday, August 9th.

World of Beer hosts monthly brewery nights and spotlights, tap takeovers and beer-centric events celebrating American Craft Beer Week, Dogfish Head Shark Attack, WOBtoberfest and more at each location.

The ‘WOB Culture’ is unlike any other. The specially trained staff has completed an extensive, two-week beer school, and are on-hand to guide customers through the World of Beer experience centered around a global menu of beverages, live music and televised sports.

WOB steadily rewards its customers by offering a Loyalty Club Program that enables them to earn points on trying different beers. Guests earn one point for every different beer purchased at WOB, gaining them access, appreciation and rewards. The program is available to all guests and is easily accessible through the app (available for iPhone and Android smartphones). It’s WOB culture in the palm of your hand.

WOB was founded in Tampa, FL in 2007. After this month, 44 taverns will be open in 14 states (FL, AL, VA, TX, WI, OH, IL, NC, GA, AZ, CO, SC, MI and WA). Locations to soon follow are Denver, CO, Brandon, FL, New Brunswick, NJ and Baltimore, MD.
