AUSTIN, Texas (December 15, 2016) – Adelbert’s Brewery is excited to announce a donation of $5,583.50 to the Breast Cancer Resource as the result of sales from Hibiscus Saison cans year to date and its annual It’s the Tits Fest fundraiser in October.

“It is humbling to see how something that started small to honor my mom as a breast cancer survivor has grown into project with momentum to raise money to help so many women,” said Sarah Haney, General Manager and Marketing at Adelbert’s Brewery.

“The Adelbert’s Brewery team is truly dedicated to the work we do in the community. Since 2015, they’ve donated over $8,000 for BCRC services,” said Ray Anne Evans, BCRC Executive Director. “Their passion for our shared cause is evident not only in the funds they’ve raised, but also in their decision to put our organization’s name on every can of their Hibiscus Saison. To me, that says a lot about a company’s commitment to our mission. Their investment will go a long way to help improve the lives of local women with breast cancer. For that, we are tremendously grateful.”

In line with its commitment to supporting the local community, the brewery donated to over 100 non-profits in 2016. In 2017, the brewery also plans to introduce a canned blonde ale to support coastal conservation associations.
