Washington, D.C. – On Monday, July 27, 2015, U.S. Senators Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) will host a “Happy Hour Hangout” on Google to discuss economic benefits of the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act, which would provide tax relief to the nation’s craft brewers, cider makers, vintners, and distillers, streamline a variety of complex regulations, and significantly reduce compliance burdens for America’s craft beverage producers. In all, these businesses contribute some $6 billion and 40,000 jobs to Oregon’s economy. Senator Wyden sponsored this novel legislation last month along with Senator Baldwin.
