Seneca Falls, NY – Fleur De Lis Brew Works is excited to announce Operation Hoppy Feet 2019. For the second year, the Seneca Falls brewery partners with Seneca County House of Concern to provide socks to those in need. The brewery is collecting new, warm hosiery from customers for donation to the Seneca Falls service organization.

Frequently donated articles to the House of Concern include coats, hats and other winter clothes. These items rarely become threadbare before the wearer finishes with them. Socks are another story. Beth Partee, Partner and Craft Beer Parlour Manager, explains “Socks are something that’s always needed but not often donated. Especially warm, new socks. We wanted to partner with the House of Concern to contribute relevant items, bring awareness to the service organization and benefit the community at large. Socks are an easy fit.”

And Hoppy Feet? Beth states “It’s a pun. All beer is made with hops. Changing happy to hoppy fits in with the craft beer parlour.”

Donors may deliver socks to the Craft Beer Parlour. Supporters will be rewarded with $1 off every pint of beer for each package of socks. Donations will be utilized in one of two ways. Either for families and children in need or for thrift store resale to help raise operational funds for agency related expenses.

Collections continue through December 30.
