Fretboard Brewing Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio Wins Another Award for Fretboard Vlad

Following up their recent win for Fretboard Vlad in the 2018 World Beer Cup, Fretboard Brewing Company took home two more Silver Medals this Monday, July 9th with the announcement of winners of the U.S. Open Beer Championship. Winning silver in the category of Belgian Pale Ale is a beer called Crazy Train. Fretboard Vlad again won Silver in International Style Pilsner validating the medal win from The World Beer Cup 2018. This brings home 3 medals for 2 different beer styles in the short 9 months of operation that Fretboard has been open.

According to the U.S. Open Beer website, breweries from South Carolina to South Korea sent in more than 6,300 beers representing more than 110 different styles for the 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship. The competition is the only one to include beers from professional breweries and award-winning home-brewers, with judges from England, Canada and the United States.

Fretboard Brewing Company is located at 5800 Creek Rd in Blue Ash. Fretboard specializes in quality craft ales and traditional style lagers. Recently opened in November 2017, Fretboard has quickly gained traction in the local Cincinnati market and distributed its products to more than 300 bars and restaurants in Cincinnati.
