BALTIMORE – We are very excited to announce that our Pounder Pilsner won the “Best in Show” award in the Brewers Association of Maryland‘s 2019 Maryland Craft Beer Competition. Pounder also received the gold medal in the “Pale Lager and Pilsner” style category.
Made with German malts and a plethora of European hops, Pounder Pils is an American interpretation of a classic European Style. Exhibiting a crisp malt backbone and an herbaceous hop profile, this Pilsner is quaffable and refreshing. This year-round offering is smooth and elegant showcasing a bright yet zesty botanical aroma.
Our recent 15 barrel brewhouse taproom exclusive release, En Route Brut IPA, also won the bronze medal in the “Specialty IPA” style category.
