Mike Hess Brewing (MHB) is excited to announce that is has partnered with Elite Brands to distribute their award-winning craft beers throughout the state of Colorado.
Beginning this month, MHB’s high-quality, distinctive beers —already counted among San Diego’s favorites—are making the move to Colorado, including Habitus Double IPA (2014 World Beer Cup gold award-winner), Grapefruit Solis IPA, Grazias Vienna Cream Ale and more.
In 2010, University of Colorado (CU) alum Mike Hess (Class of ‘90) and his wife, Lynda, launched San Diego’s first “nano” brewery. Fueled by a solid reputation for quality, award-winning beers and an outstanding guest experience, family-owned MHB is now San Diego’s 11th largest craft brewer, standing out in a field of 135 operating breweries.
“I first fell in love with craft beer when I was a student at CU, 30 years ago. Now we’re coming full circle, bringing it back to where it all began—it’s awesome,” says founder and Chief Brewing Officer, Mike Hess. “My family and I have deep roots [in Colorado], and working with the amazing team at Elite to bring our brand here, to distribute our beer to another capital of craft beer, is really incredible.”

Starting in February, consumers can find MHB’s beers at craft-conscious bars, restaurants, and retailers throughout Colorado available on draft, and in Open Mike™ cans equipped with fully removable tops, eliminating the need for a glass and making them great for active Colorado lifestyles.
