Pikes Peak Brewing Company Set To Host First Ever Southern Colorado

International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day, March 8, 2014

Female Beer Professionals from all over Southern Colorado will descend upon Pikes Peak Brewing Company in Monument, Colorado to take part in International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day.  Aly Hartwig, assistant brewer at PPBC, will head up the inaugural collaboration with several other women in the local craft beer industry to brew Unite Pale Ale, session pale ale on March 8th, 2014.   All 50+ breweries around the world which are participating in the Women’s Brew Day will brew The Unite Pale Ale, although each brewery’s version will likely have its own unique twist. The PPBC spice up their version with a touch of rye.

A map of all of the breweries participating in IWCBD can be found here: Map of IWCBD Participating Breweries.

A portion of the proceeds from the beer made this day will benefit the Pink Boots Society. The Pink Boots Society is a USA-based non-profit organization with an international membership, which helps women further their beer careers through scholarships and the educational programs.
