Newburyport, MA—RiverWalk Brewing Co. has named Ben Lauranzano the organization’s new Vice President of Sales. Lauranzano is tasked with supporting the brewery’s growing presence in the metro Boston, western and southern Massachusetts markets. A mission that becomes even more critical with the brewery’s expansion plans for summer 2017.
“We’ve known Ben for many, many years. His wealth of experience and marketplace insight will be a tremendous asset, especially as we expand our capacity and distribution. On a personal note, his upbeat attitude is the perfect fit for our team and we’re very lucky to have him on board!” said founder Steve Sanderson.
Prior to joining RiverWalk Brewing, Lauranzano was the Head of Sales for a local regional brewery. Additionally he brings over a decade of management and training experience from both the nonprofit and educational fields.
“For me, beer tells a story. I can remember the beer I was drinking when I first met the woman who would become my wife, and I can remember the first time Steve asked me to try the beer that would become RiverWalk IPA. In both cases, cracking open those beers brings me right back to those amazing times and conversations. I am excited to be able to tell the stories behind the RiverWalk beers to people all over New England.” remarks Lauranzano.
