A surge of interest in craft beer is taking over Texas, and Rabbit Hole Brewing is poised and ready to satisfy the thirst of the region’s craft beer drinkers.
Rabbit Hole is a new start up production brewery founded by 3 long-time recreational brewers who plan to bring something new to the burgeoning local craft market. Our drive is to build a brewery that will focus on classic world beer styles that are underrepresented by today’s American craft breweries: styles such as English India Pale Ale, German Kolsch and American Brown.
Our products will be authentic versions of beers we love but sometimes have a hard time finding. Naturally, we will also have seasonal brews that stretch the boundaries of traditional styles. For the last couple of years we’ve been working hard to develop and refine our business plan, navigate through the licensing and business landscape and raise funds for our 20 Barrel brewery to be built in Justin TX, a small and colorful town just south of Denton. Our plans are nearly complete and our brewing equipment orders about to be placed, but there’s still a missing piece: we need a place for visitors to come and try our beer.
Tasting Room and Biergarten Weekend brewery tours are a staple of the brewing industry, and with our unique location situated between Ft. Worth and Denton we anticipate a lot of visitors to the Rabbit Hole. That’s where Kickstarter comes in. In addition to all the awesome SWAG we have to offer, funds from Kickstarter will be used to build a proper tasting room and biergarten for people to come and enjoy our beers.
The $12,000 goal will allow us to convert existing office space in our building into an attractive tasting room, and to construct an adjacent outdoor biergarten. In the event that we exceed our goal, we’ll be able to upgrade our fixtures and furnishings, and any additional funds beyond that will go toward the purchase of improved packaging equipment to help extend the reach of our brews and our brand. With a goal of hitting full production in the 4th quarter 2013, we hope that by year’s end you’ll have the opportunity to come visit the tasting room you helped create.
