Watford City, NORTH DAKOTA — In celebration of a year of “Hopped Up on Homegrown,” Stonehome Brewing Co. has announced its One-Year Anniversary party to be held at the brewpub on Thursday, April 26th.

“We wanted to create something really special and unique to show our gratitude,” said Head Brewer Kenny Driggers. “Our Barrel-Aged special releases have been in the works for months. We’re excited to share them with the community that’s not only accepted us, but truly embraced us. Specialty releases, or one-off beers, aren’t that out of the ordinary for us to distribute locally, regionally, etc. — but, our anniversary party gives us the opportunity to provide local supporters and familiar faces with a fun experience that will only be found at the celebration.” Stonehome will release the following Barrel-Aged craft beers, in-house only at the One-Year party:

  • Box Shaped Heart, ABV: 5% | We’ve taken our hometown favorite, Heartless, and infused it with Luxardo cherries and orange peel in Rye Whiskey barrels over the last 4 months. If you guessed our inspiration stems from an ‘Old Fashion,’ you guessed right.
  • Strong People AHTK (Are Harder To Kill), ABV: 10.5% | Our big, bold, Strong Ale is dark in color and rich in taste with just the right amount of lingering whiskey finish, with notes of dark chocolate, raisin, molasses. This ale was aged for over 5 months to give us a subtly sweet aroma of bourbon and oak. Beer Styles
  • Long X (XL), ABV: 5.8% | This is a fun twist on our Great American Brown Ale that was enjoyed all winter. Our smooth brown ale is easy on the palate with a nice balance of malt backbone and slightly sweet finish. Barrel-aged in Rye Whiskey for an an oak and whiskey finish.

“Kenny and the team have produced some incredible beer in just one year, and we’re looking forward to hosting this party for our patrons and seeing where the future takes us,” said Stonehome Co-Founder Angie Pelton. “It’s been a blast connecting with our guests on their favorite beer choices and pairings, and hear what they’d like to see next, or more of. The positive feedback we’ve received at beer fairs like the Great American Beer Festival, Under Brew Skies and Fargo Bacon & Beer Festival has continued to inspire innovation and fuel growth.”

‘Hopped up on Homegrown’ is more than Stonehome Brewing Co.’s slogan; it’s the blueprint of the North Dakota community-immersed pub established in 2016 and the brewery that opened its doors the following spring on April 26th, 2017.

The customer appreciation party kicks off with a pig roast barbecue at Stonehome at 5:30PM, CT, Thursday, April 26th. To learn more about Stonehome Brewing Co. visit us at www.stonehomebrewing.com.
