Leesburg, VA, – Visit Loudoun and the Loudoun County Brewers Association will launch the inaugural LoCo Beer Week June 22 – June 29.

More than 30 breweries along the LoCo Ale Trail will be featuring events, beer releases and specials in their tasting rooms to celebrate LoCo Beer Week. In addition, craft beer restaurants within Loudoun and the greater Washington region will be hosting LoCo Beer Week tap takeovers and specials. beer and food course

The week will begin with a LoCo Beer Brunch at Leesburg Public House. On June 26, the LoCo Ale Trail will head to Roofer’s Union in Adams Morgan with a tap takeover and live broadcast from iHeart Radio’s DC101 personality Roche. Additional tap takeovers are scheduled at King Street Oyster Bar, Hops N Shine, Blackfinn Ameripub and Kettles & Grains. The week’s celebration will culminate at Chefscape with a dozen Loudoun breweries pouring their beer to be paired with Chefscape’s unique shared kitchen space.

Loudoun County not only has the highest concentration of craft breweries in Virginia but also features the Mid-Atlantic’s first commercial-scale hops processing facility. Loudoun County is also home to its own yeast lab that provides craft brewers throughout North America with high quality yeast pitches, lab services and beer science support. Loudoun’s extensive craft beer experiences range from tasting rooms on farms to ones in urban settings just minutes from Dulles Airport.

Guests will be able to check in on social media throughout the week using #LoCoBeerWeek and will be eligible to win a grand prize of a guided tasting with a Loudoun Farm-to-Table Beer Pairing Dinner.
