WILD BEERS SET TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN CENTRAL FLORIDA Sunshine State Distributing announces their partnership with North Carolina’s D9 Brewing Company
ORLANDO, Fla. (June 19, 2018) – Sunshine State Distributing is proud to announce their recent partnership with D9 Brewing Company. Distribution of the brewery’s highly-flavored beers will reach restaurants, craft bars and retail locations in six Central Florida counties: Orange, Osceola, Polk, Brevard, Lake, and Seminole. D9 Brewing Company is based in Lake Norman, North Carolina.
“D9 Brewing Company puts their primary focus on the science side of beer, which sets them apart from many other craft brewers,” said Chris Larue, president of Sunshine State Distributing. “The beers they produce are amazing technically and incredible in flavor. They’ll be a fantastic addition to our portfolio in Central Florida.”
D9 Brewing Company was founded in 2014 by two engineers and a doctor. The brewery seeks to be the leading producer of wild fermented beer in the southeastern United States.
“We are excited to partner with Sunshine State Distributing to bring our innovative and experimental ales to Central Florida,” said Andrew Durstewitz, co-founder and CEO of D9 Brewing Company. “We believe in the craft market of Central Florida and can’t wait to start pouring some of our unquestionably original crafted ales.”
Central Floridians can look forward to experiencing some of the brewery’s most popular offerings, including Swell Rider Tangerine Session IPA and Brown Sugar Brown Cow, a mocha brown ale brewing with Colombian coffee, chocolate, vanilla and brown sugar.
In addition to these and other core beers, Sunshine State Distributing will carry D9 Brewing Company’s prized wild beers, including Brewer’s Day Off Cucumber Cantaloupe Gose, Carnival Passionfruit Sour, Discord Concord Grape Sour, and Systema Naturae Kiwi and Makrut Sour. Systema Naturae Kiwi and Makrut Sour is a new edition after the brewery earned a gold medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival for it’s Systema Naturae Scuppernong & Lily Wild Sour Ale.
Distribution of D9 Brewing Company is set to begin this June.
