Classic American Pilsner grain bill with 30% locally-grown unmalted white corn, hence the Maizen. Fermented with Bavarian ale yeast, this beer is truly unique. Named after our first employee and current Davidson County Sales Manager, David Spohr, he came up with the idea to make this beer after judging meads at a local homebrew competition.
